DO'S & DONT'S-CERAMIC AND PORCELAIN TILE
DO - use place mats under china,ceramics,silver,metal or other objects that might scratch your tile.
DO- use felt pads under your furniture to prevent scratching of tile.
DO - place a small rug or mat at entryways to trap dirt and sand from normal foot traffic.
DO- dust or vacuum countertops ,islands,vanities and floors frequently.
DO - clean surfaces regularly by moping or wiping using Crystal Clean daily cleaner.
DO - use warm or hot water if you run out of daily cleaner.
DO - clean up spilled food products to prevent staining or etching.
DO - have your tile/grout professionally cleaned regularly ( 12 to 18 mos)
DON'T - use ordinary household cleaners that are acidic or alkaline, or those containing bleach,ammonia,vinegar and colored dyes.
DON'T - use abrasive cleaners such as dry cleaners or even soft abrasive cleaners.
DON'T - mop using dirty mop water.
DO'S & DONT'S - STONE: Marble,Travertine,Granite,Limestone,Terazzo
In addition to all of the above tips you should also remember these tips for stone.
DO- use coasters under glasses,especially if the contain alcohol or citrus juices.
DO - use trivits or mats under hot dishes or cookware.
DO - blot up spills imedeately to minimize staining or damage to stone.
DO - have your stone professionally cleaned or sealed regularly.(every 18 to 24 mos.)
DON'T - use vinegar ,bleach ammonia or other general purpose cleaners.
DON'T - use cleaners that contain acid such as bathroom cleaners, grout cleaners or tub and tile cleaners.
